This morning the EUR/USD pair has shown significant weakness currently dropping to around the 1.4848 level. Cable has already dropped down to 1.6301. Cable has come under heavy selling pressure, the situation in Dubai/heightened risk aversion and the prospect of lower growth forecasts from the government is taking a toll. This morning the JPY/USD pair has recovered some of it losses and is now back up at the 86.1889 level.

Due for release today is the CHF KOF Economic Barometer and the CAD Current Account.
