The DOW continues to trade inside the consolidation at the highs of the current move ending the session yesterday down 36 points. The S&P closed down 7 points and the NASDAQ fell 16 points. The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 has a quiet trading session closed the day down 24 points. Futures – DOW is called flat, FTSE is called down 25 points. Oil is trading at $108.60 a barrel and gold at $914.20.

The DOW pushed higher at the open but ran into resistance around the 12740 level where it turned ending the session up 3 points and leaving a high test reversal bar on the chart. The S&P also has a high test reversal bar as the index closed the session up 2 points, the NASDAQ closed down 6 points. The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 gapped higher at the open but stalled around the 6000 level ending the day up 67 points. Futures – DOW is called down 40 points, FTSE is called down 30 points. Oil is trading at $108.87 a barrel and gold is trading at $923.50.

The DOW continued to traded within the boundaries of the consolidation forming at the highs of the current move, ending the session down 16 points, watch for a break of this pattern for direction. The S&P added 1 point and the NASDAQ ended the day up 7 points. The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 pushed higher at the open and ended the day up 55 points. Futures – DOW is called up 45 points, FTSE is called up 25 points. Oil is trading at $106.57 a barrel and gold at $918.50.

The DOW had a quiet trading day yesterday as it builds out a consolidation at the highs of the current move ending the session up 20 points. The S&P added 1 point, the NASDAQ also added 1 point. Oil is trading at $104.27 a barrel and gold is trading at $905.70.

Oil is trading at $104.50 a barrel and gold at $905.50.

The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 fell 100 points in the first hour of trading yesterday to the 5600 level where it bounced to closed the day up 9 points at 5702 leaving a bullish low test reversal bar for Monday.
