The DOW had a volatile session yesterday after the cut in interest rates ending the session up 137 points. The S&P added 18 points and the NASDAQ 42 points closing at a new 6 year high. The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 traded lower at the open but rallied during the session closing the day up 62 points as it continues to build out an ascending triangle. Futures – DOW is called down 35 points, FTSE is called up 10 points. Oil jumped to new highs again yesterday and is now trading at $95.65 a barrel and gold is now trading at a 28 year high at $799.20.Â
