The DOW tested new highs during the day but ended the day up 20 points at 13346. The S&P closed down 2 points and the NASDAQ fell 15 points. The FTSE, writes Greg, 100 gapped higher at the open but fell back during the day to close down 10 points. The FTSE, writes Greg, 250 also gapped higher at the open but fell back to close up 3 points. Futures – DOW is called down 15 points, FTSE is called down 15 points. Oil is trading at $63.90 a barrel, gold at $669.40
